After 30 years of literacy advocacy, the Barbara Bush Foundation was ready to evolve its brand and digital presence to connect with new, diverse audiences. Their mission of tackling America's adult literacy crisis had deep impact, but their communication tools needed updating to reach today's advocates, donors, and partners. The challenge: create a comprehensive brand transformation that would amplify their message and inspire action across digital channels while honoring their foundational work.
I led the brand and digital redesign from strategy through launch, collaborating with Foundation leadership and partnering with developers to execute a comprehensive transformation. I designed a refreshed visual identity and digital ecosystem that honored the Foundation's heritage while modernizing their engagement capabilities. Through strategic collaboration with Foundation leadership, I created an updated brand system, user interface design, and social media design framework that elevated their mission across every touchpoint. The redesign achieved a 65% increase in web traffic, 96% growth in new audience engagement, and a 2,597% increase in donation page traffic, establishing the Foundation as a dynamic force in literacy advocacy.
